After completion of the first round trainings, UNV team asked to develop and deliver the second round of trainings for the volunteers. ASEM management team observed the volunteers needs and based on that request Volunteer Orientation Training (VOT) module was developed.
VOT covers expectations of different stakeholders, roles and responsibilities of a volunteer, dress code and representing themselves, communication and soft-skills, and benefits of volunteering and self-development opportunities for volunteers. VOT is 3-hour long course with various presentations below on each topic and promotes team participation through group work, discussion and team activities.
