The ASEM11 Summit concluded its journey in Ulaanbaatar as the Summit leaders commenced Closing Press Conference on July 16. With closing remarks from Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, Myanmar President U Htin Kyaw, and Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, the leaders announced its resulting documents Chair’s Statement and Ulaanbaatar Declaration.

The president of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, not only thanked international delegates and acknowledged the fruitful discussion between the ASEM leaders but also, closed the Press Conference by thanking all Mongolians involved with organizing the Summit, including the volunteers, security, service and government staff hosting 2500 international delegates and 700 media representatives all around the world.
Later that day, Mr. Purevsuren, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, also acknowledged the important roles #ASEM11Volunteers played during the#ASEM11 and thanked everyone who committed their time and efforts in successfully hosting the #ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
